Join us at local apothecary, Earth Commons in east Austin, who will host us for this tape release of my album, The More Than Human World.
We will set a restorative and intentional space for this evening. This will be a deep listening gathering with plant art, journaling, and tea as we listen to the playback of the album.
What to Expect:
1) We begin with a brief talk on this project, The More Than Human World, which includes the album release and series of local events to help us listen deeply to the elements of nature, the plants, and the land.
2) We will serve a listening herbal tea, provided by Earth Commons.
3) We will have an optional plant art making and journaling during the music listening. (journals provided) The plant art will involve drawing on large shared pieces of paper and outlining flowers.
4) Playback of the album will begin during the art making. We also welcome lounging, meditating, and introspective listening.
5) Tapes will be for sale
