Peace in Chaos: Sound Meditation
Peace in Chaos: Sound Meditation
“Our collective care mission is to create accessible spaces of rest for community connection and wellbeing. It is important for us to be able to access spaces of peace and we do this by sharing the arts of sound medicine and visual design.”
About the Facilitator: Andrea Cortez is a music therapist and sound artist who creates restorative listening spaces with instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, harp, and voice. Sessions designed to soothe the nervous system, promote rest, support slowing down, and foster community networks.
What to Expect: Peace in Chaos is a guided meditative session with sounds of the singing bowls and gong. Attendees can lay on the floor or chairs will be available. Sound activated visuals by Eastern Red will be projected.
